Classic british telephone box that has been transformed into an aircleaning mini urban hub. As seen in Archway, London.
Watercolour, ink, digital collage.
I’m inspired by the details of daily life. Like this typical phone box that has been transformed into a small urban jungle. I took notice of it one day on my way to pick up my daughter from childcare. It was a hot summer day on a busy road in London, I was dreaming about the quiet paths along lakes, wild bushes and endless trees in north Sweden, where my family is from and where we usually all spend our summers. And here I was walking through the polluted air and seeing a tiny oasis. A glimpse of innovation, as the electricity driven buses, newly installed water fountains, people carrying around their keep cups. To really make a change we need micro-innovation from individuals and huge innovative change from the big players.
